GlyphForge turns your hand-drawn letters into a working OpenType font with real contextual alternates. Here's how:

Set up Illustrator
Run GlyphForge_ArtboardGenerator.jsx in Illustrator (File → Scripts → Other Script).
This creates artboards for every letter, number, and symbol, including alternate slots.

Draw your letters
Draw each glyph on the "Glyphs" layer. Alt artboards have a colored border.
Guide labels sit above the artboards and won't be exported.

Export SVGs
Use File → Export → Export for Screens in Illustrator (SVG format).
Or run the GlyphForge_Exporter.jsx script to skip empty artboards automatically.

Build your font
Drop all SVGs into the drop zone. They auto-match by filename.
Adjust spacing, tweak per-glyph bearings by clicking any glyph, then hit Export .OTF!
